“ My Aunt recommended this spot and we came in today. Well we found out the whole plaza did not have power! However the grill was working and we did stay for some hot food!! The cheese on top may not have been melted but the flavours were still there and amazing. We have the combo platter, burrito dinner and enchilada dinner. You are in the area stop by and try some flan!! Limited tables for dine in (we did grab a table) or carry out! ”
“ Very good experience and very good food, it tastes like real authentic Mexican food around the area... I tried the special of the day, and it was guisado de res (beef stew but Mexican style), and the meat was good ,on point ,sauce was good as well, then i try a flan and it was delicious, ,, it was hard to get a Mexican food around the area, but this one is good... definitely, I will try and come back again and try the tacos... !!! ”
“ The highlight of the Taco was definitely the seasoning in the meat. Everything tasted fresh, owner was very friendly, and the location is clean. This is a great quick lunch spot. ”
“ First visit. Really liked the enchilada sauce. We had chicken (nicely shredded) and beef. Both were tasty. Nicely served with rice and beans. Good price. Don Betos is clearly proud to serve!! We will definitely return. Closed Sundays. ”
“ I eat here quite often. They are always friendly and the food is delicious. This is not a fast food place, so it does take a little bit of time to make the order, but it is always well worth it. ”
“ Highly recommended to all yearning for Mexican cuisine. Food is excellent and always fresh, including their homemade salsas. This definitely is one of my fav spots for the best Mexican food within the Metro Detroit area. They even have a decent selection of Jarritos (soda beverages) too and desserts like tres leches, flan, and sopapillas. ”
“ Ordered carryout. The gentleman that took our order was super friendly. 15 minutes later at the restaurant I was greeted by the same friendly gentleman to pick up the order. The food was all hot and fresh. I married into a Mexican family so I'm spoiled by the real/good stuff. The beef tacos were outstanding. The sauce on the enchiladas was also really good. Not overpowering or overdone like so many restaurant enchilada sauces. Just the right amount of cumin. Plenty of cheese on the tacos, burrito, and enchilada. The rice was good. The refried beans needed more salt, so that's the only thing preventing me from giving 5 stars for the food. Easily rivals Mexican Village in Mexicantown. We'll be back! ”
“ Stopped here for lunch after a visit to Sec of State around the corner. Love supporting local businesses. What a great gem we found! We had carryout and everything was delicious. Monster burrito could have served 4. Enchilada. Regular burrito. And look at the set ups - guac/salsa/sour cream and lettuce. Very nice. We also got tacos but I think the kids inhaled before I snapped a pic. I did get a bite and also delicious. We will be back. Highly recommend. ”
